Wallace Community College’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is set to make a splash this spring, and tickets will go on sale Monday, February 9 for this under-the-sea musical adventure! Ariel and all her underwater friends will swim onto the stage March 5–7 at 7:00 PM, with a special matinee performance on March 8 at 2:00 PM. All performances will be held at the Bencze Theatre on WCCD’s Wallace Campus in Dothan.
Be part of Ariel’s world as WCCD brings this Disney classic to life with dazzling music, colorful characters, and plenty of heart. Based on the beloved animated film and Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless tale, The Little Mermaid tells the story of a curious young mermaid who dreams of life on land and follows her heart on an unforgettable journey. This family-friendly production features favorite songs including “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Kiss the Girl.”
Tickets go on sale February 9 and are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased online at wallace.edu or at the Bencze Theatre box office beginning one hour prior to each performance.
“The Little Mermaid is pure Disney magic,” says Ben Lundy, WCCD Theatre Director. “From the vibrant music to the unforgettable characters, this show is a joy from start to finish. Our students, faculty, and staff have poured their hearts into creating a production that will transport audiences under the sea, and we can’t wait for the Wiregrass community to be part of our world this March.”
